Detectives, on the case! Read every clue and reason step by step: if Crow doesn't like desserts, which shop did Crow go to? If Gorilla beat two animals, which place is that? Tap the answer card and use logic to find the one true answer!
Logic puzzles are a classic of early-years math: children must extract conditions from verbal clues and narrow down the possibilities step by step. This game covers four core reasoning skills — elimination (rule out the impossible; what remains must be true), ordering (turning "beat two animals" into a finishing place, i.e. quantity into position), one-to-one matching (three colours, three patterns — pinning them down with "is" and "is not"), and transitive comparison (A is heavier than B, B is heavier than C, so A is heavier than C — the seed of inequalities and number lines). These are also the foundations of reading comprehension and primary-school interview tasks.
When your child gets stuck, don't rush to reveal the answer — re-read the clues one by one and ask: "What does this clue tell us? Which option is impossible now?" Encourage them to "cross out" eliminated options with a finger and say the reason out loud: "This one can't be right, because..." Being able to SAY the reason is real reasoning. For ranking questions, line up toy figures for real; for matching questions, draw a simple grid (colours down the side, patterns across the top) and tick or cross the cells — that's the seed of the classic logic grid.
Logic is everywhere in daily life: at dinner, ask "Dad finished first, I was faster than Mum — who was slowest?"; on the way out, play "guess where" — "We're not going to the park, and not to the beach — where are we going?"; matching socks: "This pair is Dad's, this pair is NOT red — what colour is it?"; in the lift, compare heights: "I'm taller than my brother, he's taller than our cousin — who is shortest?" One little clue a day, and reasoning grows on its own.
