每幅圖畫都藏著一個數字:🍎+🍎=10,那麼🍎是多少?圖畫方程式其實是兒童版代數 — 用符號代表未知數、逐步推理、代入驗證。這類題目在小一面試屬於拉分題,考的不是計算速度,而是邏輯思考。
Every picture hides a number: 🍎+🍎=10, so 🍎=? Picture equations are algebra for children — symbols for unknowns, step-by-step reasoning, substitution to check. In Primary One interviews these are the differentiating questions, testing logic rather than speed.
由「兩個相同圖畫」入手最容易:「兩個一樣的加起來是10,一個是多少?」熟練後才挑戰有不同圖畫的組合。最重要的是:忍住不要說答案 — 讓小朋友自己想出來,「想」的過程才是訓練。
Start with "two identical pictures": "two of the same add up to 10 — what is one?" Move to mixed pictures only when ready. Most important: resist giving the answer — let your child work it out; the thinking is the training.
自己動手畫!用動物貼紙或者撲克牌自製圖畫謎題考小朋友;角色調換、由他出題你猜,他會理解得更加深。
Make your own! Use animal stickers or playing cards to create picture puzzles for your child; swap roles so they set the puzzle and you guess — understanding deepens when they create.
